Infamous 2 should i be good or evil

The Beast may seem scary, and one ending results in Cole electrocuting one of his friends to death. A "red light district" is in the game, some neon signs advertise "nude girls", and others depict scantily clad female silhouettes. No nudity is shown in game. Some revealing outfits are shown worn by Nix and, later on in the game, Kuo.

In short, Cole MacGrath can be a hero, but Superman he ain't! He can be played as either an anti-hero think, modern incarnation of Batman or a sadistic thug. Remember that it's a good alternative for kids begging for Grand Theft Auto, even if it isn't the lightest-hearted of games. Kid, 10 years old April 27, Kid, 9 years old March 8, I have not played story, only free roaming Awesome game with endless varieties of powers!

Controls are simple. Blood is barely noticeable except on the screen when you are injured. You gan glide across the open world city on power lines! This game is super fun! The inappropriate signs you can easily avoid anyway. Teen, 13 years old Written by RedMercury January 18, Education with Conductivity? I guess you could consider the game educational due to the fact that it only lets you electrocute enemies with conductive materials which may make children stay away from electricity near light poles, power lines etc.

There are consequences in the game if you do something bad while you will be rewarded if you do something good like Skyrim.

Overall it is nothing that a kid cant handle. Kid, 8 years old January 12, Major violence and some blood. Extreme sexuality and some nudity and plenty of swearing. Teen, 15 years old Written by JarHed January 3, It is okay. Not for me If you like little side missions, and chose if you want to be 'good' or 'evil'. Then this is the game for you. In Infamous you get to chose your path, so to speak. You have the options of being a good hero or an evil villain.

I recommend parents to buy this but ensure your child is making the "good" choices in the game. Teen, 15 years old Written by mattguy15 December 27, I suggest that you play as good its more approprate and has a better ending but same amount of violence. Kid, 12 years old December 6, Infamous 2, A Great Game, Lots of Violence Infamous 2 is quite a fun game, but you do have to keep in mind the violence that is involved. Blood spurts out of enemies but there isn't any gore, which may be good for younger people playing the game.

Many things die and lay on the street. Cole can choose to bad or good. To save civilians of run around shocking and killing them. The language isn't that bad, what teen hasn't heard of that stuff or used it in their daily life. The "Drug Reference" on Infamous 2 is nothing to worry about, there's not too much of that, and when there is it's not very intense. The one other thing people might worry about is the sexual references. Nothing is graphic except for maybe 1 or 2 scenes where Cole encounters one very "different" lady from the island areas.

There are buildings in the towns that have signs and depictions of clad women, etc. Strip clubs and the like may pop up sometimes. Overall, Infamous 2 is a great game but definitely sticks up to it's Teen rating.

On the other hand, being able to fill the ground with grenades and using your full power with little regards for the innocents is very useful specially because the AI of those innocents is pretty crappy, so you will end up getting collateral regardless.

I voted bad but both are great. From a gameplay perspective the evil powers are stronger and more fun. I recommend you play good on normal and and evil on hard. When you are low on health in hard you can simply drain the life out of a pedestrian or enemy without worrying about your karma. That shit looked crazy. The black stuff would move too so it looked like there were spiders in your lightning.

I wish they had kept that in the second one. I've always preferred playing as Evil Cole in both games, but narratively speaking being a sadistic turd rarely felt justified.

User Info: zyrax zyrax 10 years ago 9 the Story is also weaker on Evil and the ending just sucks. Infamous 1 costume would have been cool. Many people who are about to start the game may be wondering, "should I choose good karma or evil karma?

I will try my best to leaking any spoilers seeing how this is intended for people who are just starting; however, this article is also useful for people who wonder what they missed by not picking a certain option.

Overall, I would say I found evil karma to be a more convenient playthrough. It is a lot easier to level up your evil karma level because anybody can be turned into an evil action.

When you choose good karma, you only raise your karma during battle if you have a way to subdue enemies, and you need to find good karma actions on the map. Also, it is easy to accidentally kill a civilian or something like that and have a negative impact on your karma. On the contrary, when playing with evil karma, all kills count towards your rampage and you can go ahead and just kill random civilians to boost your karma.

Also, most good karma events on the map can be used for evil karma by just executing people you were supposed to save. This is not to say that it is necessarily easier on evil karma. Your karma does level faster, but that does not mean you will kill enemies faster or anything like that. It just means you might not have to put in as much effort. For the most part, the story is very similar, regardless of which path you choose.

Having said that, the differences that do occur are mostly in the cutscenes and what the other characters think of you. If you choose good karma, your tribe will generally be a lot more accepting of you.
